United Against Sexual Assault

celebrates 36 years breaking the silence of violence!

UASA (you – aah’ – sah)
a place of courage, commitment, integrity, and support.

UASA is Sonoma County’s sole rape crisis center and is dedicated to serving those who have been victimized by rape & sexual violence along with an ongoing community education program.  Since 1974, UASA has operated the county’s only 24/7-rape crisis hotline, staffed by state certified rape crisis counselors providing immediate response to victim needs.

An all-volunteer board of directors governs UASA. The Agency works closely with law enforcement, hospital personnel, and all other agencies serving victims of crime. UASA provides immediate crisis intervention, medical support, accompaniment during investigation and trial, advocacy, and counseling.

UASA  provides prevention education workshops to over 5000 Sonoma County youth ages 5 -19 annually and  educates teachers, parents, and other groups in preventing sexual assault and related trauma. UASA is a 501(c)3 non-profit agency relying solely on grants and donations.

Please contact UASA if you are interested in providing a tax-deductible donation.
